比赛介绍

John Locke竞赛邀请学生探索学校课程之外的各种具有挑战性和趣味性的问题，致力于帮助青少年培养成为“伟大作家的特质”：独立思考、知识深度、清晰推理、批判性分析和有说服力的风格。

参加比赛可以帮助学生积累知识，提高论证技巧，还能让学生有机会让专家教授对他们的作品进行评估。

John Locke竞赛由来自牛津大学和普林斯顿大学等世界高等学府的资深学者组成的评审团进行评审，评审团由前剑桥大学哲学家杰米怀特（Jamie Whyte）博士领导。

评委们将从哲学、政治学、经济学、历史学、心理学、神学和法学等七个学科类别中分别选出他们最喜爱的文章，然后评选出各学科最佳作品大奖的获得者。

此外，比赛还为15岁以下的青少年设立了低年级组Junior Prize，鼓励低年级学生参赛。

注册开始：2024 年 4 月 1 日

注册截止：2024 年 5 月 31 日 (随后提交的作品必须在此日期前注册）

投稿截止：2024 年 6 月 30 日

论文要求

在经济、法律、政治、历史、哲学、神学、心理学、低年级组学科所发布的题目中，选取1个题目，撰写一篇2000词以内的论文（不包括图表、数据表、脚注、参考书目或作者声明）。
